The accident happened around 11:35 pm in the 12000 block of South Main Street. Deputies attempted to stop a driver under the influence of alcohol, who sped off instead of stopping. The driver lost control, and crashed into a home on South Main Street.
There were five people inside the home, who miraculously seemed to escape major injuries. Deputies were able to arrest two people from the car, but one evaded police at the scene. The investigation is ongoing at this time to determine cause and liability.
