WILLISTON, FLORIDA (April 21, 2017) – All four victims of a tragic small plane crash on Saturday, April 15th, have been identified, according to a local news source. (map)
The small, 1948 Cessna 170 plane was attempting to take off from the Williston Municipal Airport around 3:00 pm, but crashed into a stand of trees on the north side of the runway for an unknown reason. The crash was not spotted until 22 hours later, around 1pm on Sunday, even though the 20-30 pilots that took off from the airport during that time should have registered the emergency signal from the downed aircraft.
37 year old Nathan Enders, his 42 year old wife Laura Enders, and their two children Jaden, 7 and Eli, 5, were all tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The crash is under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
“Sadly, there are no words that can comfort all the family members and friends of the Enders family as they cope with such tragic loss,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm. “Our thoughts and prayers are with all parties affected in this tragedy as they try to piece together what happened.”
