WHITTIER, CALIFORNIA (April 11, 2017) – A female motorist was involved in a rollover collision no the northbound 605 Freeway and Slauson Avenue Tuesday afternoon, according the California Highway Patrol. (map)
The crash was report at 3:49 p.m. A white Toyota sedan, driven by a female motorist, tried to maneuver around another vehicle causing the Toyota to rollover and rest on its roof, according to the CHP report. Los Angeles County Fire Department was dispatched to the scene to find both vehicles at the center divider. The female motorist was out of the vehicle sitting on the guardrail.
The victims of the crash sustained injuries, however, the number of people involved in the collision as well as the severity of those injuries were not yet available. A sig-Alert was called to clear the Toyota blocking the No.1 and HOV lanes of the freeway, as well as the other wreckage caused by the crash. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident.
