WHITTIER, CALIFORNIA (August 18, 2017) – A bus and multiple other vehicles were involved in a collision on the 605 Freeway on Friday morning, according to a California Highway Patrol report. (map)
The accident happened around 8:20 am on the northbound side of the 605 Freeway near Slauson Avenue. A bus and up to four other vehicles were involved in an accident for an unknown reason, including a grey Acura, a grey Toyota, and a black Ford Expedition.
Paramedics from the Santa Fe Springs Fire Department responded to the scene, but there was no word on the condition of those involved in the accident. The accident remains under active investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
