WHITTIER, CALIFORNIA (January 30, 2017) – 46-year-old Agustin Rodriguez Jr. died in a bicycle vs. vehicle crash near Ditman Drive and Calmada Avenue on Monday, according to authorities. (map)

The deadly collision occurred at approximately 7:30 am when the driver of a pearl colored four door Lexus with tinted windows struck and killed Mr. Rodriguez in the 9100 block of Calmeda Avenue.

The driver, believed to be a woman, of pearl colored Lexus fled the scene. The vehicle was last seen traveling westbound on Lambert Road.

Authorities state that the Lexus had white paper plates and should have front end damage.
