WESTMINSTER, CALIFORNIA (March 6, 2017) – At least three to five vehicles were involved in an accident on the 405 Freeway on Monday morning, according to a California Highway Patrol report. (map)
The accident happened around 9:13 a.m. on the northbound side of Interstate 405 near McFadden Avenue. Several vehicles including a gray sedan and a Porsche Boxster were involved in an accident, leaving several people trapped in their vehicles. At least one of the vehicles struck the center divider.
An ambulance and paramedics rushed to the scene and injuries at the scene ranged from minor to moderate including one party that sustained a broken nose. The fire department also had to extricate at least one person from their vehicle. A pregnant woman was reportedly inside one of the vehicles involved as well, and her condition is unknown. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
