WESTMINSTER, CALIFORNIA (January 2, 2017) – According to the Westminster Police Department, two people were killed on Monday in a collision on Beach Boulevard and Madison Avenue. (map)
WPD Corporal Phuong Pham reported that a convertible was traveling northbound on Beach Boulevard around 11:20 a.m. when it collided with a Toyota Avalon that was attempting to make a left onto Madison Avenue from the southbound lanes. The Avalan crashed into a floral shop entrance.
Corporal Pham states that the driver and passenger, identified as Kimmy Hua and Khoa Truong of the Avalon, were pronounced dead while the 50-year-old woman in the convertible sustained minor injuries and taken to a hospital.
