WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA (January 1, 2017) – An 82-year-old female pedestrian was hit and killed on Sunday, at approximately 4:20 p.m., on Barranca Avenue and North Garvey Avenue. (map)

The elderly female pedestrian was struck by the Foothill Transit bus and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are still investigating the accident to determine the cause.
