The accident happened around 1:30 a.m. on Greenfield Avenue near 96th and 98th Streets. A vehicle was traveling west on Greenfield when it struck a car turning north from 98th Street. The driver of the car turning from 98th street was tragically killed in the accident and was identified only as a 50-year-old man from Menomonee Falls.

The responsible vehicle fled the scene on foot and was apprehended by authorities a short time later. Initial reports indicate alcohol was likely a factor in the collision. The accident remains under investigation at this time.

“It’s unfortunate that motorists under the influence disregard the negative effects that may ensue from driving under the influence. Drunk drivers continue to endanger the safety of all other drivers,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm, a California car accident and personal injury attorney.
