WEED, CALIFORNIA (March 23, 2017) – Two vehicles were involved in a collision on Old Highway 99 on Thursday morning, according to a California Highway Patrol report. (map)
The accident happened around 8:54 am on Old Highway 99 (Also known as Stewart Springs Road) and Old Stage Road just off Interstate 5. A white Nissan Sentra and a Toyota were involved in a collision for unknown reasons. The Toyota sustained heavy drivers side damage and the Nissan sustained front end damage.
An ambulance responded to the scene to tend those injured in the collision, but their condition is unknown. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
