“Investigation Ongoing”

WATSONVILLE, CALIFORNIA (April 3, 2017) – Two cars were involved in an accident on San Miguel Canyon Road on Friday morning, according to a California Highway Patrol report. (map)

The accident happened around 7:07 am at the intersection of San Miguel Canyon Road and Apricot Lane. A white sedan and a black sedan were involved in a collision for an unknown reason. The black sedan went into the ditch and caught on fire. The driver of that vehicle fled the scene on foot.

At least one person was injured in the accident, and an ambulance responded to the scene. The accident remains under investigation to determine cause and liability, and to find the hit and run driver.

“Police will gather evidence and conduct interviews with the drivers and witnesses to determine liability” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm. “Any injured party involved in an accident will have a bodily injury claim against the negligent driver who caused the accident.”
