The accident happened around 5:46 am at the intersection of San Miguel Road and San Juan Road. Two vehicles were involved in a collision for an unknown reason, and the impact caused one of the vehicles to catch on fire. Initial reports seem to indicate the collision was head-on.
At least one person was tragically pronounced dead as a result of the accident, and another was rushed to Natividad Hospital after the accident. The collision remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
This is the second fatal accident on San Juan Road within the last month. On August 28th a man was killed in a head on collision about a half a mile away from Thursday’s accident. The area is reportedly known for blind corners and curves that are hard to see around.
“Sadly, there are no words that can comfort all family members and friends as they cope with such tragic loss,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law. “Our thoughts and prayers are with all parties affected in this tragedy as they try to piece together what happened.”
