WALDORF, MARYLAND (January 5, 2017) – A school bus and a car were involved in a collision on Thursday morning on Bryantown Road in an accident that left the school bus on its side, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 3:30 pm on Bryantown Road in Charles County. A school bus and a car collided into each other for unknown reasons, leaving the school bus on its side from the impact.
The three people on board the school bus at the time of the accident were described as the driver, an attendant, and a child who was wearing a seatbelt. All three were injured in the accident. The two people inside the car, described as a 13 year old and a 65 year old also sustained injuries and were transported to a hospital as well. The investigation is ongoing.
