VISALIA, CALIFORNIA (April 9, 2017) – Two vehicles were involved in a hit-and-run collision on the eastbound Highway 198 near Highway 63 early Sunday morning, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident occurred at approximately 2:32 a.m. The vehicles involved in the crash were identified as a Ford F-150 and a Chevrolet Silverado. One motorist sustained injuries from the collision and was transported to Kaweah Delta Hospital from treatment.
It was reported that the driver of the other vehicle, got into another vehicle and fled the scene. The Ford F-150 sustained left rear-end damage while the Chevrolet Silverado sustained front wheel damage. The identity of the injured party was not released. No other information pertaining to the collision was not yet available.
