Florencio Bernal Arrested After Deadly DUI Accident
VICTORVILLE, CALIFORNIA (December 19, 2016) – A 47-year-old man is dead after a DUI-related collision on Palmdale Road and Emerald Road on Friday night, reported the Daily Press. (map)
Raymond Christopher Ashe, 47, of Victorville, was killed in the traffic accident on Palmdale and Emerald roads that was caused by a suspected drink driver. Palmdale Road is also known as Highway 18.
A preliminary investigation revealed Raymond Ashe was the passenger in a Toyota Echo which was struck by a Toyota Highlander SUV, believed to be driven by Florencio Arellanes Bernal, 34, of Adelanto.
Florencio Bernal was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence at the time of the crash.
The collision remains under investigation by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department Major Accident Investigation Team
