Coroner Identified Victim of Fatal Big Rig Crash
VICTORVILLE, CALIFORNIA (December 9, 2016) – A woman died shortly after a major traffic collision involving a tractor-trailer and an SUV on Highway 395 on Friday, reported the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. (map)
The accident occurred around 11:25 a.m. on US-395 about one half of a mile north of Bear Valley Road.
A preliminary investigation indicated 52-year-old Diane Brayford, of Upland, was traveling northbound on Highway 395 when for unknown reasons, she lost control of her vehicle and struck a southbound semi-truck in between Bear Valley Road and Dos Palmas.
Sadly, Diane Brayford was airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center where she died from injuries sustained in the accident.
Victorville City Sheriff’s Station is investigating the cause of the crash and will issue a report after a thorough analysis of the evidence.
