VICTORVILLE, CALIFORNIA (January 27, 2017) – A woman identified as 63 year old Christine Acuna was killed on Friday night when she was struck by a car on 7th Street and Lorene Drive, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 7:15 pm at the intersection of 7th Street and Lorene Drive. Christine Acuna was crossing the street inside a marked crosswalk when she was reportedly struck by an unidentified vehicle which immediately fled the scene.

Christine was rushed to Victor Valley Global Medical Center for treatment of her injuries, but she tragically succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead. The accident remains under investigation, and authorities are attempting to locate the hit and run driver that struck Christine Acuna.
