VICTORVILLE, CA (December 8, 2016) – A sixteen-year-old was injured and had to be taken to Desert Valley Medical Center after a two car collision occurred yesterday morning on Rodeo Drive at Seneca Road. According to the CHP reports, the crash occurred at 8:00 a.m. when a Jeep Compass going westbound on Seneca, ran through a stop sign and clipped the back end of a Chevy Impala that was going north. The impact was severe enough that the Jeep overturned onto Rodeo Drive north.
The Impala was moderately damaged. The 25-year-old male driver of the Jeep Compass explained to local news reporters that he had left a graveyard shift at work and he did not remember driving through the stop sign. No other victims were injured in the crash- apparently the sixteen-year-old was the only one to sustain injuries. The accident is still under investigation.
