“Six Injured in Car Crash”
VERNON, CALIFORNIA (May 4, 2017) – Six people were involved in a a two-car collision on Alameda Street and Vernon Avenue early Thursday morning, according to the Vernon Police Department. (map)
The accident occurred at approximately 1:00 a.m. It is possible that a driver may have ran a red light, according to Sgt. Brandon Gray of the Vernon Police Department. Five of the occupants from one vehicle sustained major injuries and was transported to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center. the condition of the sixth person involved in the collision was unknown.
The identities of the victims were not yet released. No other details of the accident were available. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the injury collision.
