VENTURA, CALIFORNIA (April 17, 2017) – A motorcycle suffered severe injuries after an accident on Castaic Pass Road on Monday afternoon, according to a California Highway Patrol report. (map)
The accident happened around 12: 30 pm on the eastbound side of State Route 150, also known as Castaic Pass Road. A motorcyclist was thrown from his motorcycle for an unknown reason, just east of the Chlorination plant.
The accident was initially marked as a fatality, but responding officers and the fire department were attempting CPR on the fallen rider. Their current condition is unknown at this time. The accident remains under investigation.
