“Deadly Accident ”
VENTURA, CALIFORNIA (April 21, 2017) – At least one person was killed in an accident at a campground near Lake Casitas on Friday morning, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol. (map)
The campground, on the shores of Lake Casitas, was located off an unnamed street leading off of Casitas Pass Road. A 2005 Chevrolet vehicle came off the side of the hill and crashed into the campground for an unknown reason, carrying four people.
At least one person was pronounced dead at the scene, identified as 14 year old Mia Ragans. The accident remains under open investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
