VENTURA, CALIFORNIA (January 29, 2017) – According to the Ventura Police Department, a 51-year-old male motorcyclist was killed and his passenger was injured on Sunday in a collision on Victoria Avenue, north of Olivas Park Drive. (map)
The VPD reported that the motorcycle accident occurred around 5:30 p.m. The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Ventura officers were called to the scene of the accident for the motorcyclist and his passenger that was treated at the scene.
The VPD states that the motorcyclist was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. The female passenger was later transported to Ventura County Medical Center.
