VENTURA, CALIFORNIA (February 19, 2017) – A passenger was killed in an accident on Sunday morning at Victoria Avenue and Telephone Road, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 6:45 a.m. at the intersection of Victoria Avenue and Telephone Road. A car of unidentified make and model crashed for an unknown reason. The 21-year-old male passenger was tragically pronounced dead at the scene by responding medical personnel.

The 21-year-old female driver suffered major injuries in the accident and was rushed to a nearby hospital. At this time it is unclear whether or not a second vehicle was involved in the accident, and the investigation is ongoing.
