Samantha McKinney, 28, was in a crosswalk at about 6:00 a.m. when she was struck by a minivan traveling eastbound on Tennessee Street.
Samantha McKinney, who has three small children, was rushed to the hospital where she underwent emergency surgery. Tragically, she was declared “brain dead” and placed on life support.
