“Head On Accident”
VACAVILLE, CALIFORNIA (December 21, 2016) – Two people were killed in a head on collision on Wednesday morning near Peabody Road, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened near the intersection of Chuck Hammond Drive and Peabody Road. A Lincoln sedan and an SUV were involved in a head on collision for unknown reasons, causing both cars to erupt into flames. A passing motorist saw the accident in his rear view mirror and stopped, pulling one party out of the SUV.
Unfortunately two parties inside the Lincoln were trapped inside the burning car and died at the scene. The party pulled from the SUV suffered lide threatening burns and was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition. The investigation is ongoing to determine what caused the collision.
