“Young Boy Injured in Crash”
UPLAND, CALIFORNIA (March 26, 2017) – A 6-year-old boy was involved in a pedestrian versus vehicle collision Sunday afternoon on West 14 street near North Albright Avenue. (map)
The incident occurred at approximately 4:00. p.m. when a motorist, traveling westbound, struck the 6-year-old pedestrian while he was crossing in the 900 block of 14th Street, according to Upland police news release.
The 6-year-old sustained critical injuries and was airlifted to a local hospital. The motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with police officials. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident.
