According to the CHP report, the traffic accident occurred at about 1:59 a.m. on I-210 and involved a gray Mazda, a white sedan and a dark-colored sedan.

Emergency medical personnel responded to the scene of the crash and assisted the injured parties. The number of people injured, as well as the extent of the injuries, has not been disclosed.

The California Highway Patrol will issue a report after a thorough analysis of the evidence.

Distracted drivers are a major cause of traffic accident. Other contributing factors include driving under the influence, speeding, road conditions, inexperience, disobeying traffic signals, road design and debris.

“Police will gather evidence and conduct interviews with the drivers and witnesses to determine liability” said the attorneys from Lexton Law, a California personal injury law firm. “Any injured party involved in an accident will have a bodily injury claim against the negligent driver who caused the accident.”
