The helicopter crashed near the peak of Mount Baldy for unknown reasons. The Robinson R-44 helicopter was carrying four people at the time of the accident.
Three of the four suffered injuries in the accident, and the fourth declined medical treatment. The FAA is investigating the incident, but initial reports state the tail of the helicopter suffered heavy damage in the crash.
