UKIAH, CALIFORNIA (March 26, 2017) – A solo vehicle accident left the car stranded in water off State Route 20 on Sunday night, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 5:45 pm on Sunday evening near Potter Valley Road. A Dodge Stratus went off the road for an unknown reason, going 80 feet down an embankment and landing in water. The vehicle ended up almost completely submerged.

Three people were able to escape the vehicle and sustained only minor injuries. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
