TWENTYNINE PALMS, CALIFORNIA (January 13, 2017) – One Marine was killed and another was injured in an accident on Friday at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 5:05 pm on Friday. Marines were participating in a live fire exercise when a terrible accident occurred, involving two Marines.
One Marine was tragically pronounced dead at the scene, and the other was rushed to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs for treatment of his injuries. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
