TUCSON, ARIZONA (February 17, 2017) – A motorcyclist was killed in an accident on Friday afternoon on State Route 83, near milepost 51, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened sometime after 12:00 p.m. on State Route 83, also known as Sonoita Highway. A motorcyclist and an unidentified car collided for unknown reasons. The motorcyclist was tragically declared dead at the scene.

The driver of the car was not injured in the accident. Police are currently investigating the accident to determine the cause and liability.
