The accident happened on Sunday at the Northstar California ski resort in Truckee, near Lake Tahoe. 35 year old Dennis Baltimore, a veteran ski instructor, was on a beginners trail when he struck several rocks and then crashed into a creek.
Dennis Baltimore was tragically pronounced dead at the scene by responding paramedics, despite extensive resuscitation efforts. The investigation is ongoing into the details of the accident.
