TRUCKEE, CALIFORNIA (November 30, 2017) – A Robinson R-44 helicopter crashed outside the Truckee-Tahoe airport on Thursday afternoon, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened when a helicopter, registered to Tumbleweed Leasing out of Salt Lake City, crashed at the east side of the field around 3:40 pm with two people on board.
Both of the people on board were injured, and were airlifted from the scene to Reno. Their current condition is unknown at this time.
