The accident happened around 7:00 am on the westbound side of the 205 Freeway, near Mountain House Parkway. A motorcycle was reportedly attempting to split lanes when it was involved in a collision, possibly with a Honda Civic. The impact forced the motorcyclist under a nearby big rig and became trapped under a tire.
The motorcyclist was tragically pronounced dead as a result of their injuries. The big rig that struck the motorcyclist remained at the scene and the accident is under open investigation to determine cause and liability at this time.
