The accident happened around 7:00 a.m., at the intersection of Broadway Road and 71st Avenue. A car traveling westbound on Broadway was clipped by a second vehicle exiting 71st Avenue. The rear axle from the second vehicle broke off from the impact and struck a third car.

The driver of the second vehicle, a 5 months pregnant woman, was ejected from her car in the accident. She was rushed to a local hospital, and was later said to be in stable condition, as is her unborn child. Nobody in the other two vehicles reported any injuries. The accident remains under investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.

“Any injured party involved in an accident will have a bodily injury claim against the negligent driver who caused the accident,” said the attorneys from Lexton Law Firm, a car accident and personal injury law firm.
