TOLEDO: One Killed in Accident with Cement Truck on Sylvania Avenue and Overland Parkway

TOLEDO, OHIO (August 3, 2017) – At least one person has died in an accident with a semi truck on Sylvania Avenue, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 2:00 pm at the intersection of Sylvania Avenue and Overland Parkway in Toledo. A minivan carrying two people and a baby reportedly turned in front of a cement mixer, which then struck the van.

The passenger in the van was tragically declared dead as a result of the accident. The driver of the van and the baby were both rushed to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
