“Big Rig Crash”
TIPTON, CALIFORNIA (March 13, 2017) – A semi truck was involved in an accident Monday afternoon at Highway 99 near Avenue 152, according to a police report. (map)
The accident occurred at approximately 12:34 p.m. The semi truck blew a tire, crossed over the northbound lanes and into the path of a white Toyota Tacoma, according to police officials. Police officials found the Tacoma and the semi truck on the right shoulder of the roadway. Two women were found in the Tacoma. One of the occupants in the Tacoma suffered pain. However, the severity of the injury is unknown.
Rescue crews transported the occupant to the hospital for treatment. An investigation is ongoing to to determine the liability of the incident.
