TIERRASANTA, CALIFORNIA (January 11, 2017) – A California Highway Patrol officer was injured after being struck by a motorcycle on Highway 52 on Wednesday, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident occurred around 3:15 pm on the eastbound side of the Highway 52. An unidentified CHP officer was struck by a motorcycle for unknown reasons.
Responding emergency medical personnel rendered aid to the injured CHP officer, and the motorcyclist that struck the officer was reportedly taken into custody. The investigation is ongoing to determine cause and liability.
