THOUSAND OAKS, CALIFORNIA (December 22, 2016) – A man was killed when a pickup truck driven by a 19 year old suspected of DUI crashed into a home in the 2600 block of Briarwood Place, according to local news sources. (map)

The accident happened around 2:00 am when a pickup truck driven by a 19 year old man from Arizona, crashed into the back of a house in the 2600 block of Briarwood Place, landing on top of the victim.

The victim, who has been identified only as a male, was pronounced dead at the scene. The 19 year old driver was detained on suspicion of DUI. The investigation is ongoing as authorities attempt to determine the cause of the accident.
