The fire broke out early Sunday morning at the The Park at Monument Terrace Apartments, located at 11110 N. 56th Street. The fire spread quickly, but thanks to the quick actions of several neighbors, most were able to escape the blaze.

28 year old Tenecia Brannon was tragically identified as the woman who was unable to escape the blaze and was killed. The fire remains under investigation at this time to determine what caused the fast moving blaze that ripped through the apartment complex.
