TEMECULA, CALIFORNIA (February 23, 2017) – A two car accident on Thursday evening left one woman dead and two others injured on Montelegro Way, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 6:10 p.m. on Montelegro Way and Leena Way. A sedan traveling north on Montelegro Way crashed into a sedan turning south onto Montelegro from Leena. The incident was described as a broadside collision in the report.

The driver of the car making the turn, identified as Saila Felver, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene, and the passenger was rushed to a hospital with severe head trauma. The driver of the northbound sedan was also taken to the hospital with a complaint of pain, and their current condition is unknown. The accident remains under open investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
