TEMECULA: Marcus Gastiaburu Killed in Multi-Vehicle Collision on Butterfield Stage Road near La Serena Way

“Fatal Muti-Car Crash”

TEMECULA, CALIFORNIA (February 14, 2017) – A fatal multi-vehicle accident occurred on Tuesday evening at Butterfield Stage Road, near La Serena Way, according to a report from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. (map)

The accident occurred at approximately 6:50 p.m. Marcus Gastiaburu was traveling eastbound on La Serena Way in a pickup truck, when he collided with a sedan traveling southbound on Butterfield Stage Road. Gastiaburu’s truck rolled over and struck another sedan traveling northbound on Butterfield Stage Road, according to the news source.

Tragically, Gastiaburu was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman, driving the sedan traveling southbound, was taken to the hospital for moderate injuries. An investigation is ongoing to determine he cause of the deadly accident.
