TEHACHAPI, CALIFORNIA (November 19, 2017) – A pilot was killed in a plane crash on Sunday evening when his Cessna crashed near the Capital Hills area, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 6:00 pm, near Mill Street and Highway 58. A Cessna 152 crashed near the area for an unknown reason, with one person on board.
The pilot was tragically pronounced dead at the scene as result of the accident. The plane is registered to Shouling and Philip Enterprise, which is doing business as Barnes Aviation. Barnes Aviation is based out of the William J Fox Airport in Antelope Valley, and has a fleet of about 7 airplanes. The accident remains under open investigation at this time to determine cause and liability.
