
“Fatal Vehicle Collision”
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIFORNIA (February 15, 2017) – 19-year-old Teagan Wehrmann died in a car collision early Wednesday morning on Springdale Street and Edinger Avenue, according to Huntington Beach Police Department. (map)
The fatal wreck occurred at approximately 3:30 a.m., when a Ford Ranger driven by Wehrmann and a Chrysler 200 driven by 27-year-old Darius Roberts, collided at the intersection of Springdale Street and Edinger Avenue. Wehrmann was ejected from the Ford Ranger, according to Sgt. Julio Mendez.
Wehrmann was transported to UCI Medical Center due to the critical injuries sustained from the accident. Wehrmann succumbed to her injuries while at the hospital. The 18-year-old male passenger of the Ford Ranger was taken to UCI Medical center for treatment of minor injuries sustained in the collision. Roberts was reported as having no injuries and was booked on suspicion of felony DUI. An investigation is ongoing to determine the details of the fatal crash.
