TARZANA, CALIFORNIA (MARCH 5, 2017) – Three people were involved in a DUI collision Sunday Afternoon on the 5500 block Yolanda Avenue near Clark Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. (map)

The accident occurred at approximately 3:15 p.m. when the driver of a blue Honda Civic traveling at a high rate of speed collided into a pedestrian who just parked their vehicle. The impact pushed the parked Honda CR-V into two other parked vehicles which caused the Civic to spin out, according to LAFD spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.

The woman who was out of the just parked vehicle, sustained critical injuries. There were two passengers in the blue Honda Civic. One of the passengers sustained critical injuries while the other sustained non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Honda Civic was arrest for felony DUI.
