Rosa Lagunas Guzman, 52, Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash

SYLMAR, CA – Authorities have confirmed that mother of eight children, Rosa Lagunas Guzman, 52, was killed by a hit-and-run driver at the 3700 block of Byron Street at around 8:10 a.m. on Saturday.

Emergency and rescue teams arrived to find her still alive and transported her immediately to Corona Regional Medical Center where she died from her fatal injuries about an hour later.

According to the police report, Ms. Guzman had been walking down the street when she was struck by a silver Honda Accord. The Honda driver fled the scene northbound and investigators and police are still looking for him.
