SURPRISE, ARIZONA (February 12, 2017) – Two drivers were injured in a head on wrong way crash on U.S. 60 on Sunday morning, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 6:30 a.m., when a car heading eastbound in the westbound lanes collided head on with another vehicle. Both drivers were injured in the accident and one was airlifted from the scene to a local hospital.
The current condition of the two drivers involved is unknown at this time. The accident remains under active investigation to determine cause and liability.
