SUN VALLEY, CALIFORNIA (March 30, 2017) – Two three wheel motorcycles involved in an accident on Saticoy Street on Thursday afternoon, according to a local news source. (map)
The accident happened around 3:19 pm in the 11900 block of Saticoy Street near Radford Avenue. Two Polaris three wheeled motorcycles were traveling side by side when one of the motorcycles lost control for an unknown reason. They struck a parked car, a fire hydrant, a light pole, and overturned.
The rider of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. The second motorcyclist was uninjured, and it is unknown if his vehicle was struck during the accident or not. The incident remains under active investigation at this time to determine what caused the rider to lose control, and to determine liability.
