SULLIVAN COUNTY, INDIANA (December 28, 2016) – A Linton electrical worker was killed in a tragic accident on Wednesday afternoon on County Road 1100, according to a local news source. (map)

The accident happened around 3:30 pm on County Road 1100 North in Farmersburg. A Linton electrical worker identified as 46 year old Ray Lockhart of Linton was attempting to fix a power outage on County Road 1100 when he was electrocuted for an unknown reason.

The electrical shock tragically killed Ray Lockhart. An investigation is ongoing to determine what happened and to determine cause and liability.
