“Fatal pedestrian accident”

STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA (January 29, 2017) – According to the Stockton Police Department, 51-year-old Linda Morales was struck and killed on Sunday in a hit-and-run collision on Shelley Court and Jamestown Street. (map)

The SPD reported that the unknown vehicle crashed into Morales around 5:25 p.m. A passerby had found Morales in the middle of the street and called authorities. SPD officers arrived on the scene and pronounced her deceased.

The SPD states that the hit-and-run suspect is still at large and are continue to investigate the accident.

“It saddens us that an innocent victim has been killed at the hands of a reckless hit-and-run driver.
